Medical Weight Loss + Lifestyle Treatment

Custom weight loss treatments are available at Kyle Farr Aesthetics. Kyle will provide an assessment of your current needs and develop a medical weight loss plan to get your results. If you have insurance coverage for weight loss medication, Kyle can help you obtain prior authorization for Wegovy or Saxenda in a timely manner.

In order to qualify for this medical weight loss plan, you need to have a BMI greater of 30 or higher, or 27 with comorbid conditions such as:

  • Hypertension
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Dyslipidemia (high cholesterol)
  • Or other conditions

Kyle Farr Aesthetics works with a private pharmacy for patients who do not have coverage for weight loss medications on their commercial insurance. This allows us to help even more people, regardless of their insurance status.

After you have completed your consultation and have started our program, Kyle will also schedule routine follow-ups to check-in and ensure you are on track.

FAQ's

  • What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 peptide agonist. It works in three ways to assist with weight loss and lowering blood sugar.

    1. Helps your pancreas to produce more insulin
    2. Helps prevent your liver from releasing and making too much sugar
    3. Delays emptying of the stomach (reduces hunger and appetite)
  • How Does it Work?

Semaglutide mimics a natural protein found in your body called "GLP-1". This protein signals to your body that it needs to produce insulin.

Insulin helps your body take in glucose after you eat a meal, which lowers your blood glucose levels; it can even help with weight loss.

  • What Are the Side Effects?

Some common side effects seen in patients: abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects can be avoided and our team will be available to help advise you.
